This is a smart trashcan made for the subject Programming & Physical Computing. The trashcan detects the distance between the bin and a hand, with the use of an ultrasonic sensor. A servo is then programmed with an Arduino to automatically open the bin. Moreover, the bin has a IR sensor which can measure of full the bin is. This is communicated with an ESP32 to a website which displays how full the bin is with processing, and when the bin has to be taken out with the use of Google Calender
